Muscular reflexology by Christian Slot
"This book teaches you about the functional activities associated with meridians and their connection with both the traditional Chinese organ systems and muscle injury and strain. Here it is put into words and pictures all that is necessary to learn about the musculoskeletal system. The book clearly shows how the muscles operate as a pully system with one another. In terms of pain management this book is a fabulous addition to the tools we already have available to us with reflexology. The book is full of detailed and simplistic drawings, making them readily accessible for both the experienced and novice practitioners."

About the book Muscular Reflexology by Christian Slot
We constantly meet people with pain conditions in muscles and joints. It is important therefore to be able to offer a treatment within this field.
Muscular Reflexology focuses on the problems in muscles, joints, and the spine. Aimed specifically at these areas this book explains new reflexzones, new techniques, and a new comprehensive model for treatment with reflexology.
The first part of the book establishes a model based on transmission of balance via the spine. Here you are offered an insight about cause and effect and about root and manifestation. You will also learn about the special rules that apply for muscular tensions relative to their transmission in other places of the body.
The second part of the book is based on the Chinese understanding of energy. Here another balance model is presented to support your understanding of the cause of the development of muscular tension. Reflecting patterns of imbalance within the individual.
It is the authors opinion that the use of both models of understanding will achieve the best result.
To be able to diagnose the muscular tensions and their transmission it is necessary to have knowledge of the exact locations of individual muscles. The book therefore reviews muscles, their function, origin and insertion, as well as where they are located and how they are treated as reflexes on the feet.
The book provides an uplifting new insight into the amazing ability of the feet to convey information about conditions in the body, in addition to the possibilities the information offers for treatment within this special sub-area.
